We are in the process of booking flights overseas to take my father-in-law on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to retrace his Swiss roots. Everyone is excited to see and meet with family members until recently disconnected. A worthwhile adventure. Except for airfare!!
Has anyone noticed that in most cases, the tariffs and taxes are more than the actual airfare? Next time you book a flight, check the fees on your ticket...then get up off the floor and make some noise. Oil is under $50/barrel, why are we still being jammed up by the abismally run airline industry?! A $900 round trip ticket with nearly $480 in fees!
In these frugal times, it's time to be heard.
